What to expect
Join us for a full day of inspiration, art, and community at The Alpha Building (210 Broad St, Nevada City) exploring what a truly sustainable future can look like. Start the day with coffee and the art show from 8am to 1pm, and stop by the Clothing Swap and Plant Swap from 8am to 4pm. From 2 to 4pm, Repair Cafe Nevada County will be on hand. Bring your broken items and get help from talented volunteers giving them a second life.
Then join us from 5 to 8:30pm for the Main Event, featuring guest speakers Bea Johnson, bestselling author of Zero Waste Home; Shawn Donnille, owner of Mountain Rose Herbs; and Stephanie Barger of TRUE Zero Waste. Connect with local organizations, discover practical ways to reduce waste, and hear from leaders helping to shape more sustainable communities. Seating for the evening program is limited, so please arrive early.
